The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon, who runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. Today is episode #2 of his new show, 'Deadline D.C. with Brad Bannon.'

Brad was first joined by Amie Parnes, National Political Correspondent for 'The Hill' and co-author of 'Shattered,' the number one New York Times' best selling book on the 2016 presidential election. Amie's Twitter handle is @AmieParnes.

Brad's second guest is Craig Holman, Government Affairs Lobbyist for Public Citizen, a nonprofit consumer advocacy organization that champions the public interest in the halls of power. They were instrumental in the passage of HR1, the sweeping ethics in government legislation that easily passed the House and is awaiting action in the Senate. That is today's topic of conversation between Brad and Craig.
