The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. His new show, 'Deadline D.C. with Brad Bannon,' airs every Monday from 3-4pm ET.
Brad is first joined by Josh Bivens, Director of Research at the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank created in 1986 to include the needs of low- and middle-income workers in economic policy discussions.
Their website is EPI.org and their Twitter handle is @EconomicPolicy.
The two discuss EPI's ‘Budget for Shared Prosperity,' which Josh is the lead Author on.
During the second half of the show, Brad leads a political round table with two guests discussing President Trump's comments that he would accept foreign interference in the 2020 election. They also discuss Trump's chances for re-election and the leaked internal polls against former Vice President Joe Biden.
The two round table guests are Dave Feighan and Mark Grimaldi. Dave is the Founder and CEO of Tiller, the social media website for politics.
'Tiller' is a national community of registered voters, elected officials, and candidates for office.
Like a LinkedIn for politics, Tiller creates a verified and safe online world, where voters have at their fingertips all of the tools to manage their politicians and their world.
Don't trust regular social media for something as important as Democracy. Use Tiller instead, and be the best voter, and best citizen, that you can be. To check it out, visit www.MyTiller.com.
Mark Grimaldi, or 'Marky Mark' as Leslie Marshall calls him, is the Executive Producer of this show and a Democratic Activist. His Twitter handle is @MarkJGrimaldi.
Brad writes a column every Sunday on the 2020 Presidential race for 'The Hill.' He's on the National Journal's panel of political insiders and is a national political analyst for WGN TV and Radio in Chicago.
His website is BannonCR.com and his Twitter handle is @BradBannon.
