Parole Reform and Nipsey Hussle

Today's guest hosts are Charlotte Hancock, Communications Director for Generation Progress, and Brent Cohen, Executive Director of Generation Progress and the VP of the Center for American Progress.

They discuss parole reform and deceased rapper and entrepreneur, Nipsey Hussle. Hussle was also a former gang member who turned his life around and was reinvesting in his community and its under-served youth population.

The guests on today's show are Vincent Schiraldi, Jacob Jackson, and Joasiel Gonzalez.

Schiraldi is former commissioner of the New York City Department of Probation and co-director of the Columbia University Justice Lab.

Jackson and Gonzalez are both students at the Youth Justice Coalition's FREE LA High and LOBOS youth organizers.
